What new patients receive
- A free gift of your choice with your first visit: professional teeth whitening, a custom-fit night guard or a pro sports guard. Pick one.
- Free Uber rides: a ride to Lunar Smile and a ride back home after your visit. This one is for every patient, not just new ones. See the full offer.
- Direct billing to your insurance, so you only pay any balance your plan does not cover.

What happens at your first visit
Your first appointment is a full assessment of your teeth and gums. It usually includes:
- A review of your medical and dental history, including any medications you take.
- X-rays, if needed. If your previous dentist took x-rays in the last 6 months, we can request copies so you don’t need new ones.
- An exam with Dr. Adel Elbaz, including an oral cancer screening.
- A cleaning with our dental hygienist.
- A conversation about your goals. Dr. Elbaz explains what he found, your treatment options and the costs, and answers your questions. In some cases, treatment can begin the same day.
If you are nervous about the dentist, tell us when you book. We offer sedation options, gentle computer-controlled freezing and virtual reality headsets to help you relax.
What to bring
- A list of the medications you take
- Your dental insurance details: insurer name, group or policy number and your ID or certificate number
- Your CDCP member card, if you are covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan
- Contact details for your previous dentist, if you would like us to request your records
Patients under 18 need a parent or guardian with them at the first visit.
